Areola Restorative Tattooing is a good option for anyone who may have lost their nipples due to Breast Cancer or Post gender affirming top surgery.
Many paramedical tattoo artists get little to no training, especially in Colorado, where there is minimal regulation. Most lack both artistic and body art training. While I have always appreciated traditional tattooing, I wanted to do something more meaningful. I believed it was crucial to receive the best training possible, so I joined Stacie Rae’s A.R.T. program, known for its excellence. After completing this thorough training, along with 14 years of experience in traditional body art and a life spent creating fine art, I feel ready to assist you or your loved ones on your healing journey. Whether you are still contemplating this decision or eager to proceed, I would be happy to discuss it with you. I am committed to being a reliable, compassionate, and knowledgeable resource for our community.
PRICING: 300$ Unilateral (one nipple) / 500$ Bilateral (both nipples)
How This Works
Though you may be very excited to get started on your tattoo journey, it’s incredibly important to be responsible about the timeline your body needs to heal properly.
It is recommended to wait at least a minimum of six months after any breast procedure to do any tattooing. Though tattoo wounds are fairly superficial and easy to heal, there is a lot of deeper healing happening under the skin. If damaged/not fully healed breast tissue is tattooed prematurely, you run the risk of the areola tattoos not settling in the correct placement, difficulty healing, and the creation of irreversible scar tissue damage. Many untrained artists will disregard this timeline and tattoo clients prematurely, creating further issues around an already sensitive and difficult situation. It is crucial to wait the recommended time before any tattooing takes place.
This being said, It is also required that each areola tattoo receive at least two passes, the second ten weeks after the first. This patient approach ensures the proper, gentle administration of pigment into damaged tissue - giving us the best possible results. It is critical to the outcome of your tattoo, to not rush this process.
